Has anybody any idea if the sky HD boxes will have a HDMI input and an output (i know that the first lot will be DVI only, but I suppose it could apply to that to).

The reason I ask is that most HD ready displays at the moment only have one HDMI input. So if you were to have a HD DVD or a Blu Ray DVD player and a HD box you will need two HDMI input unless you can do it the way you do with scart where on the back of the box you have a scart input and a scart output. Allowing you to plug the scart output from the DVD into the scart input on the sky box and then use the scart output from the sky box to the TV, therefore only needing one scart terminal on the back of the TV.

    Hope this makes sense

    Thanks for any help

actually I think the first lot are HDMI (not DVI) and component...you can get HDMI extenders (like scart extenders) that allow you to plug a few devices into the extender which then plugs into your screen
