Sky HD Box - Sky Protect Plan

If I buy a Faulty Sky Hd box from EBAY, And then Claim for it to be fixed under my Sky protect, Would this work, As a Sky Engineer Told me today that it would.

Any help ?

Anyone with a valid Sky subscription can get a replacement box, for the registered box, for £65. Many, many have got it for nothing.

How much a month is Sky Protect?

Do they not record the serial number of the box on Sky Protect ?

Someone will know , but I'm not sure who as many don't have sky protect

I already have Sky Protect for Any Box Including The Current HD box and The Sky plus box im wanting to replace with the Hd Box Idea.
