    SOLD to jaime-m

    Hi,

I have a Sky HD box for sale following an upgrade to the 2TB box.
This is the single input non Sky + box without a HDD. Yet it still allows HDMI connectivity along with TOSLink and ethernet. Due to not having fans, it also runs silently.
Box is in excellent condition and the remote is on good overall condition with a couple of buttons with worn labelling. It comes with everything including the original packaging but, not the HDMI cable. These can be purchased very cheaply though.

    I'm after £25 inc P&P.

    Thanks,

    Paul

    Hi,

Thanks for the offer. I think my price is competitive enough though and it's certainly the cheapest I've seen them for. So, I'll respectfully decline.

    Thanks,

    Paul

    Hi,

You mention an ethernet connection does that allow for BBC iPlayer, STV/ITV player, 4oD, Demand Five etc? just asking as I thought it was on the SKY+ boxes only as it used the HDD for buffering/temporary storage

Any chance of some pics of both box and remote?

    Hi,

Apparently, it allows you to stream content from your main box (Sky+HD) and according to this article, will allow you to stream content from the web too. Whether this has been enabled yet is another thing I guess.
I must admit that I never tried it but, if I get a chance, will have a go this evening.

I'll put up some pictures for you too.

Another function I hadn't appreciated is that this is the only Sky box to allow 5.1 sound over HDMI. Why they've not enabled that on the Sky+HD boxes yet, I'll never know...

    Hi,

Thanks for the prompt reply :)

Interesting about the streaming but its not a deal breaker if it can't do it

As for the pictures I appreciate you taking some though to be honest I only really asked as you mentioned the button wear on the remote!

So long as the box is fully functional, receives all the FTA HD channels and the remote is not too badly worn then I'll be happy to take it at the asking price of £25 delivered :)

Don't suppose it comes with a freesat viewing card?

    Hi,

I've added some pictures to the original post for you.

I can categorically state that the box and remote meet all your stipulations. However, I didn't ever buy a freeview card for it so I can't include that in the sale.

Happy to take to PM. :smashin:
