Sky HD Audio Output?

I am considerng getting Sky HD and I am slightly confused about the audio output? I will be connecting the HD box to a Onkyo A/V receiver via HDMI will this be in DD for all channels? Or will I need to connect it using an optical lead to get the full 5.1 DD sound?

Thanks in advance for any responses.

You DO need the additional optical connection for that purpose, as Sky have restricted the HDMI sound to DD2 only.
You posted immediately below the supermod thread headed: *****NO SKY or FREESAT Related THREADS In Here*****

Also there's an option in the input setup to force the Onkyo to use the optical connection in place of the HDMI, so there's no problem in having both connections.
There isn't all that much 5:1 content on Sky anyway.
