    Hi

I have normal sky digital and am thinking of getting hd. All my cables are neatly hidden behind skirting boards. If I upgrade, is a new cable from the dish to hd box required or do they just use the old one. If not I will have to move by skirting boards.

Because you only have normal sky digital you will need another cable anyway because you need 2 cables with sky+ or sky HD so you can record programmes

Sounds like youll need to move them. Make sure you get the Sky engineer to replace your current cable and run the new Double cable. Aslo make sure he tapes the cable to the LNB arm. Mine didnt and it looks awful. Now i have to climb up my roof to fix it.

Low Noise Block - it's the thing sitting in front of the dish, which beneath the plastic comprises an antenna feed and low-noise amplifier.
