    Hi,
been reading up on an upgrade on a sky+ v2 pace and seems quite straight forward, my question is, does it seem feasable to remove the old hard drive
connect it to a pc with removable bay.Transfer the files over to drive c,remove the drive and fit the new drive to the pc,put the files over to the new hd and then fit it back in the pace?

Just to keep my current recordings.

My sky+ box has locked into standby mode so it will need replacing - luckily it's under warranty - unlucky, lost a lot of unwatched programs. Need to think about buying a DVD recorder, as there are many messages on this forum about Sky+ boxes falling over!!

Feasible ? Yes. But I haven't heard of anyone that has successfully done it.
