I telephoned Sky at the weekend, as my wife and I are trying to cut down on some bills. I wanted to get rid of the movies as we never watch them. Anyway, to cut a long story short, I am paying £30 for the next 3 months (instead of £42) to still receive everything!! They are sending me the info on the new way of selecting the Sky channels you want. All I have to do is call them back in January and let them know what I've decided.

Well done Sky!! :smashin: :D :)

I'm sorry to say you didn't achieve anything special there - that's the current standard 'retention' offer.

    And your point being?

It's still saved me and the wife money. So still a good deal for me. :hiya:

See if you remember to call back in January

I know with AOL I had one month paid one month free for ages as I kept forgetting to phone up at the end of the months free subscription to cancel (it was their standard retention offer - a months free service whilst you make your decision)
