Hi.

I did the software update thing where you hold the backup button in whilst you plug the mains plug in to force a software update.

Is it possible to restore to the previous software, the version prior to my having done this. Or, to the very original factory installed version?

Anyone know ? Thanks.

i dont believe so but im prepared to be wrong.why do you want to do that may i ask?

Because, by updating the software, I've naused up the aspect ratio on a Pace V2 box's 'copy' command. Now the aspect ration on copy is as bad as the V3 boxes.

Unfortunately not, but even if you did it would probably very soon "auto update" to the latest version 5.0.x.
