Sky+ functionality if you cancel the sub

    Can anyone answer this one. If you have Sky+ then decide some way down the line that the £10 sub just isn't worth the money, what functionality does that leave the Sky+ box with. Does it have more functionality than a standard digi box, less functionality, and are you able to record anything at all once you cancel the sub. The reason I ask is that were I to get Sky+ I like to no my options, as I hate to get locked into things for ever and a day.

    You can not use any of the recording features without a SKY+ sub.
    There is no autoview on the SKY+.
    It has a different set of remote codes so Sat control VCR's will not work with it.

    S-video and DD5.1 will work without a SKY+ subscription.
    Hard drive can be removed/formatted and used in a PC as a standard drive.
