I'm thinking of getting Freesat from Sky. Does anyone know if it's possible to get Pay Per View football matches on this platform or is it only on the monthly subscription basis. :)

    Doesn't look like it:)

The freesat card unlike the FTV cards sold before can be upgraded to carry a SKY subscription and PPV footy (Prem+) can be bought without having a Sky Sports sub but I think you do have to be a subscriber to at least the basic package.

Guess work really, you'll have to ring them or email them which is cheaper:)

Rung this morning and it's not possible to do it. The guy at the other end of the phone didn't even work for sky, he was just taking orders by credit/debit card for Freesat.
