Is the cable used for digital cable TV (ie: ntl) also suitable for connecting a Sky satellite dish to the Sky digi-box?

I have hundreds of feet of Digital Cable TV cabling on a reel suitable for outdoor use (as it has the sticky gum lining to prevent water penetration). If this is suitable for Sky it will save me a packet as I have 4 runs to lay, all to the bottom of the garden to a pole mounted dish.

Unfortunately there are no details/specifications of the cable on the wooden reel other than Digital Cable TV/Broadband.

Anyone have a definitive answer? :)
