Just got sky digital and there's a nasty pink tint on my Pioneer plasma when I select RGB which isn't there when I select composite. Tried 2 cables. Any ideas?

Also, I was expecting an optical out for DD 5.1 as someone told my SD supports it. I can't see the output so I'm assuming its Sky+ only. Should've checked first  But after looking on here is it worth all that extra moolah as I don't need the tivo crap really. How much stuff supports it?

    Cheers

Yes only Sky+ supports DD 5.1 and yes it's worth all the money.

I had a pink/red tint on my hitachi panel from my sky+ but that only seemed to be when using a rgb2component converter. Seems fine using the rgb+composite connection. Composite looks very nasty tho. I know taht didnt help at all tho. sorry about that

Tried 2 TVs and 3 Scart leads and the tint is always there when RGB is selected so it must be a faulty box. Having someone round on Monday to take a look.
