Hi, can those of you who had a sky digital box & moved on to sky+ tell me if they noticed an improvement in sound quality when watching normal programms in stereo or pro logic not in d/d.
I know that just because it is a digital link that it is not always in d/d.
    Thanks.

Before switching to Sky+ I had a Sony digibox that has optical digital out, so I've been used to digital sound with Sky for a long time. Although these Sony units produce digital sound signal, they can not do DD; but I don't subscribe to movies anyway.

As you are aware, most of the time the signal is in Digital Pro Logic or at worst digital stereo. Sound quality is much better than analogue out of digibox.

    Hope this helps
