SKY+ Digital 5.1, quality cables, poor sound

Its not excellent like DVD sound, anybody else listening to SKY Movies in Digital surround? please tell me how it sounds to you

if you have an AV amp then plug the optical into that... that way the amp is doing the processing and it will sound better.
if not, i take it your tv is 5.1 and your sky box is processing the 5.1 and your optical - coaxial box (unless high quality) is probably not helping the situation much
