sky+ /davs 300 hook up

    for a bit of a novice can somebody tell me how too hook up my sky+ box to a sony davs 300 so that i get sky progs via the surround sound speakers. Thanks in advance.

    I'm not familiar with the Sony DAVS 300 but it will need an optical input to connect to the SKY+'s optical ouput to receive DD 5.1 or at the very least a coaxial input which when used with a convertor will allow the SKY+ optical to be used.
    The standard twin phonos (L & R) from the SKY+ will supply the amp with the information to generate a Dolby Surround (Prologic) soundtrack from suitable stereo programming.
