Well done burkey! Yes, a few people in the office have discovered that moaning works (a few months back Sky One was out for a few days, lots of refunds in the office then). I don't think Sky are a bad meaning or evil company just an incompetent and money grabbing one! I'm certain Sky would like all digibox software to be stable and be able to install equipment the day after order. Face it, it costs them a fortune to man the phones and also a fortune to get engineers out to reload software (that doesn't work anyway). Then there is the money they have lost off burkey, £68 plus the Sky+ subscription while he waits! Nobody wins, you could even argue that if they were competent then the subs would be lower <img src="wink.gif" border="0">

Having moaned in an earlier posting about the sky + instalation dates having been messed up I am glad to report that having sent an e-mail to customer services on the matter I have received a two month credit to my account (£68). Although I am still awaiting a full install(date arranged) I think the compensation was more than fair and shows that they are trying to get things right . There have been a lot of negative views about Sky instalations and its nice to read a few positives, especially for those having problems.
