I am having some difficulty in copying programmes from the Sky planner onto DVD discs via my new panasonic DVD recorder. Basically, when I use the copy function, the programme does not 'play' on screen, I just get the planner with the programme title changed from 'recorded' to 'copy'. I realise that I could just play the programme and press record, but I really want to copy more than one programme at night or when I am out. Any ideas what the problem is and how I can fix it?

Never had a problem with the COPY function on my V1 but there have been reports since the PACE v2 was launched that it had problems with the facility droppin back to the planner or live viewing without completing the sequence.
I suspect the same is happening to you, not aware of any fix but since it's never been an issue for me not really looked for one. You are making sure that the SKY+ does not receive any commands from the remote or front panel when the COPY function has been started?

You have to press the SELECT key very lightly. If you press too hard it cancels the Copy by sending the command twice.

and I thought it was just me !
same problem here... I sometimes get kicked back to the programme planner.
guess I need to be a little more gentle with that 'select' button...
