SKY+ controller switches dvd recorder

wonder if anyone can help please
I have just had sky+ installed and it all seems ok except that
when I operate the sky box controls the dvd recorder, which is linked into the system, switches on and starts to record
The only way to stop it is to switch off the dvd recorder
Does anyone know of a simple solution

Cristoff, what make and model of DVDR is it?
How are the two connected?...if by scart...which lead goes where?

The DVD is a Daewoo DQR1000D and he has connected a scart lead from the skybox to the DVD then a scart lead from the DVD to the TV . Does this help?

Okay, try this,
Call up the menu,
under "Preferences", "Auto Settings" make sure "AV Link" is set to off.
Try that.
