I'm not sure if anyone will know but are any of the CAMs below applicable to Sky encryption? Was just looking at a Satellite PCI card that can accept these (presumably) cards... just wondering like, would this be a holy grail?

To turn your PC into a Sky receiver with (later) full blown HDTV capability? After all, Sky are primarily interested in the subscriptions, they give away most of the equipment, I can't see why they wouldn't want to be encouraging people to actually provide their own gear?

The only way to watch Sky TV's encrypted channels is through a Sky Digibox.

Blame the government for allowing a monopoly!
