sky + communal dish probs

    interested in sky + so called up sky, however, because i live in a flat with a communal dish, and not allowing our own dishes i am told i cant get sky + :confused:

    has anyone else had this and know of a get around?

    You need two feeds for a SKY+ dish (you can't just split the one you have.....).........It really depends on how your distribution system is wired in your block of flats.....Basically you would need the landlord to run you another cable from the SAT multiswitch assuming there is any spare outlets on it and depending on how many flats the system serves and the cable routes it might be difficult and expensive, dammed difficult and very expensive or impossible......
    Of course if your existing communial dish isn't pointed at 2D your :censored:
