    Sorry if this thread is in wrong section but looking for a cheap sky viewing card to use for free viewing channels as im in an area where we don't get freeview and wondered if my only option is to pay sky £20 for card....

    There is no other legal way. Second hand cards are strictly speaking stolen property (which is why auctions of them on ebay are quickly removed when spotted) as they remain the property of Sky Subscriber Services Ltd and are not transferable (Anyone who doesn't believe me, read the back of a viewing card). This even applies to the FreesatfromSky cards - you are paying the £20 for the privilege of using that card not for the card itself.
