    Hi all,

Sorry if this is a stupid newbie question but I am interested in a HD media pc solution so I can throw away my various components. I was looking at the Vaio XL-3 but I am wondering if there is a device about that allows you to simply install your Sky viewing card, rather than requiring a seperate Sky box? Do any of the media PC's allow this?

    Cheers,
    Neil

you will have to keep your sky box to get updates to the card. lots of posts here on this. BTW is the sky box yours outright or does it still belong to Rupert ?

Yes, I own the Sky+ box, but I'd like to get rid so I can have the dream 1 box solution. ;) But is there a MPC I can put the viewing card into at all so I don't need to have two boxes?

I have a Bose Lifestyle 48 at the moment, coupled with a PC, Panasonic DVD writer, Sky+ box, Xbox, etc etc etc etc - a bl**dy mess. lol
