sky cabling thru walls

Active Member
Hi all,

I want to be connect my pj to sky, but the sky box is in the lounge and the room where the pj is going to be in the extension to the side of the house - so it will have to go through a wall (what would have been the exterior wall before the side extension). Does that make sense?

anyway, can anyone help me in regards to the best way of getting sky to it? Would it be to:
1. literally drill a hole through the wall and connect it that way?
2 Or would it be best to have a plate on either side of the wall and do it that way?
3. have another sky box run into the room from the dish and connect it that way?
4. Would going to sky plus be the best option or would going to sky hd be a better jump?

Sorry for the amount of questions - just havent a clue. I want to have sky thru the pj but I don't know the best way of doing it and I don't know if it is best financially to go sky hd or sky+.

thanks all
