    Dear all

Had Sky + installed about 6 months ago now. When the engineer installed sky he just drilled through the wall so the leads go directly from sat dish to SKY + box with leads just hanging out of the wall. Its a bit of a mess and it means my equipment pretty much has to stay where it is.

Can I tidy this up with some kind of box on the wall that the sat leads connect into or do leads have to go directly to sat dish? Also are the leads standard and extenable?

    Thanks

Depending on how capable you think you are you culd replce the leads yourself.

You just need to have 2 runs of decnt quality CT100/125 cable that is terminated with F plugs on each end (I think, someone may need to correct me, and the outdoor LNB/dish ones will need to be weather proof).

It's best that there is a direct run from LNB/dish to the Sky+ box.

    Additions or suggestions anyone?
