Had Sky installed on Saturday for a pound. Sky installer turned up with a tiny box made by "Pace" with only one Scart input. I then run the input from the Sky box into the video, then out the video into the AV1 RGB input on my television. I do not get an RBG signal - presumably lost because it's going through VCR...(?). This is what I said to the Sky bloke, and he agreed - and he said to give Sky a call and they'll come back and swap the box over to one with two Scart inputs on the back - He even wrote this down on the paper I signed. So, I ring Sky and they tell me that they will not replace the box. I argue with them for ages, only to be told that the installer gave me wrong information and there is no guarantee which box I get. I repeat until I'm blue in the face that I have been told by a Sky representitive that the box will be replaced and that he wrote it down on his installation sheet - which I signed to say that I was satisfied with the installation - and was still told (by a Team Leader that I will not have my box swapped over(!) - i was then cut-off. I was furious. I rang back and spoke to someone else - she went and spoke to her supervisor (seven minutes on hold) came back and asked if I was recieving a picture - I replied yes - but not RGB! She put me on hold for a further ten minutes and finally said that someone is going to be out this friday to access the situation! Unbelivable. Anyway - quick question - would anyone be able to advise me on the most efficient/easiest/any way of connecting my VCR, Sky box and TV so I can easily record from Sky to VCR, and receive RGB? Thanks.
