Sky box update

Since the update to my second box it keeps turning itself off ,anyone else experienced this..... Jim

I'm quite chuffed.


I've been unable to order footy or films via the box for a long while now. It said 'telephone line connected' but wouldn't work, so I had to ring up to order.


Anyway, after the update it works fine.

Hmmmm mine has switched itself off a couple of times today/yesterday...

Yep.
Just another "feature" of the latest software "update".

Never though I'd say this but Sky software is even more unreliable and buggy than Microsoft...

It makes the whole point of the Sky+ system a joke as I can no longer trust that any recordings will even be made, never mind able to to be played back.

Mine is working fine now, but a lot of the middle order channel numbers have been changed!

Yeah, I've just spent an hour reprogramming the pronto to accomodate this.

Another feature of the upgrade id that picture set up noe has options for a second tv's aspect ratio, and messaging appears in the search banner as a yellow box.

Can't see any other obvious changes.

it seems i dont have 2nd tv settings. will this feature only be active if you have something plugged into the rf outputs.

as i dont have ant rf plugged in or out....

Isn't that because these options are on regular digiboxes and not on Sky+ ones?

Also, not on all regular digiboxes yet either.
