Sky+ box optical connection to Nad Viso 5

Hi, have connected the Sky box to Optical In on the Nad, but no sound, any ideas what I have to do? thanks R

Is there light emitting from the end of the optical cable? Do you have another optical cable to try? Try another source e.g. DVD player or games console to confirm that the optical works on the NAD unit. Have you selected the optical input on the NAD?

thanks, I have now sorted this, I had to correct the settings on my Nad.
