I set my box to record a movie from SBO. My question is:

When do you pay for it?

1) When you record it
2) When you watch it

Thanks guys...

You pay for it when they take payment of the bill that it appears on.
Or did you mean when does it appear on the bill?

Sorry - didn't make myself clear - I have a movie on my planner at the moment which I recorded. However, I probably won't watch it and will delete it. Will I still be charged for it if I haven't watched it? When you watch on SBO (live) it tells you that you are paying for a movie and do you want to proceed? I hope I've explained my question properly?

Do I still pay if I delete it from my planner without watching?

My understanding is that, if you record (but don't watch) a Box Office film, it's automatically deleted after 7 days.

If you watch it anytime during those 7 days (even just 1 min) you're charged.

Having watched it, it's deleted after 24 hrs.

Unless anyone knows different? :)

Tht's all correct (except that it's more like 1 second than 1 minute!). The rule is that if you download (or pre-order!) a PPV Movie or Event and then watch NONE of it it is not charged.

thanks all! I will now delete said movie and hope you're all correct!

Take a look at condition 2B, then translate.

I didn''t keep my terms & conditions booklet - can't be bothered to wade through it online! Thanks anyway! I'll just take the risk
