just looking at my girlfriends parents sky+ box as they said they are having a few problems with it thinking this will be an easy quick fix but i was wrong!!!

it is an amstrad sky+ box about 2 years old, the problem is this...

the box is acting really slow, i mean really slow!!! hardly respnds to the remote at all to the point its not even worth trying to use it, ive tried rebooting it, forcing a software update, running the new instalation thing, rebooting the sky+ planner the only thing i havent tried is the fulll system reset thing in the instalation menu.

any ideas??? anyone seen this problem before? im sure its not the remote and ive tried changing the batteries.

    any suggestions would be great??

    please please help!!!

    :lease:

does it run fast when you use the buttons on the front panel?
if it does its either a remote or infa red sensor issue.
if it still runs slow, and you have tried everything you said, then get sky to replace it.

The Sky warranty is for 1 year...after that they charge £65 for a callout.
