What size (ampage) fuse does a pace 2500 sky box use????
You mean in the mains plug right?... 3A
It uses a standard 20mm fuse and the rating (by law) has to be printed on the fuse and close to the fuse holder. It will probably be something like "F1A" or "T1A". Be sure to use the exact same type.
The fuse is there to protect the equipment (and you). If the fuse has melted you should first determine *why*. If it melted because of a 230v power surge then it *may* be safe to replace it. But generally the fuse melts because something in the Digibox has failed. If you replace it without repairing the fault, then you run the risk of increasing the damage (and cost of repair). There's also a risk that the fuse (or some other part) may explode so be sure to put the cover back on before reconnecting the 230v supply.
Thanks guys it nothing that serios Fernsehman I just bought a Sky STB s/h and it didn't have a power lead so i just wanted make sure i put the right fuse in.
