    Hi Gurus...

Is it in any way realistic to run a (probably panny) 50" somehow without using a processor? Or an HD 42" for that matter?

I assume DVD would be fine as is, using something like den 2900 prog into component. Sky and/or TiVo (60%) is the concern...

Ideally I would like to grab a price sweetspot SD and ringfence the £2-3K saving for an upgrade in a couple of years.
It's the flicker and the lower greyscale/banding that's stopping me; Can these 2 'features' be tempered by processing at all?
If so might that be a decent compromise (with the processor carrying over through the upgrade) or is there another pitfall with this idea?

Also (while I have you here :smoke: ), is one processor is better suited to the Panasonics than another?

    Grateful for any input.
