I hear we can get Sky Arts on The Humax Foxsat pvr on 147 but an auto rescan has not added that channel. How can it be added?
Please give full transponder info. Thanks

It won't appear on 147. It will have a number in the 5000's Use manual tune and add this transponder

Sky Arts launched on Freeview today 17th and likely needs retuning/add channels on Freeview TVs/STBs.

It's also listed as a freesat channel but might not become available on the freesat EPG except via the overnight update in the wee small hours of tomorrow? What's on Sky Arts | Freesat

No point in freesat burbling on about it, together with the147 LCN, if normal freesat boxes cannot see it, surely?

{Logically it ought to have happened overnight ready for today but some things defy logic - or common sense. :rolleyes:}

But from what I've heard @ 544x576 resolution it's probably not worth watching. :p

It’s not worth watching anyway. It’s not really an arts channel. More like endless repeats of Tales of the Unexpected. Give channel 4455 a try if you can get it. Opera, ballet, Rattle and Georgiev are better. That’s for content and picture quality.

Two episodes of Tales Of The Unexpected a day - not that many repeats.

Tonight they've got documentaries about Faberge, Jimi Hendrix and Freddie Mercury, plus 3 live concerts (weekends tend to have a wide range of music programmes, from profiles to concerts),

Some interesting new series coming too - Sky Arts unveils raft of new original commissions as channel goes free to air

Hendrix and Mercury - chacun a son gout!
