Ok this is my idea !

I would say that most people who will take on sky hd will allready have sky+, they will also have recently invested in a HD capable display, this will leave them with an old display and the old sky+ box, so how about to kick start the sky HD roll out, offer us existing fools who will pay even more of the rip off price that we do now a free second room package to utilise our old sky+ box and old telly :)

    oh look ............. flying pig

They don't need anything to kick start HD. There will be enough mugs (err, sorry, customers) waiting with their cheque books open :)

Agreed - Sky know that they'll make a fortune from HD. They are just a money making machine - God, you can't even phone then now for anything other than on an 0870 number at 8p per minute. I know they are a business and need to make money but .......................

    Cheers,

    Martin.

It actually connects you to the Disney Channel, but you then press for option 1 and you're through to Sky Digital.

    Cheers,

    Martin.
