Hey all - happy new year :)

Was just wondering the options available to me for archiving stuff Ive recorded on sky+ I have picked up on a few threas showing its possible to archive to a dvd-recorder and of course theres always VHS. Is there any way to get the recording from the sky+ box onto my PC - Id like to be able to stick it onto a media player (perhaps the archos AV300 series, or even my chipped XBOX)

    Suggestions most welcome

Basic capture card being fed the video and audio from the SKY+.
Capture the SKY+ analogue output onto the PC hardrive for viewing on the PC and/or burn the data in the required format onto CDR or DVD for playing on a DVDplayer of other device.

With the price of DVD recorders dropping all the time that may be the far viable option and is certainly more user friendly if the PC approach is starting more or less from scratch:)
