SKY+ and Telephone interference

    Since moving house and aquiring SKY+ we have had problems with our NTL telephone. None of the special features would work, caller ID etc.

    After several engineering checks,the last one who visited us in a last ditch attempt noticed the extension lead going from the phone socket to the sky+ box.
    After unplugging the lead...Lo and Behold,everything worked as it should!??

    Anyone else had this problem, can anyone explain whats happening?

    I had this problem with my BT line. On removing the Sky+ phone connection the problem, (noisy BT line), disappeared. BT charged me £60 call-out fee which I claimed back from Sky - although it took over two months to complete, and then the refund was by credit to my Sky account.
