sky+ and s-video output

    Does anyone know if the s-video output of sky+ does the same auto-switching of widescreen modes as the rgb scart does on the normal sky box.

    If the answer to the above is yes, does that also apply if the s-video output is put through an AV amplifier first

    As an afterthought, how does the s-video signal compare to the rgb output?

    No Sky+ does not support Widescreen switching via the S-Video Output, only via the Scart (Pin 8).

    I don't think it sends either the voltage change or the Line 23WSS.
