For reasons to boring to go into I have sky and mirror sub but have 2 dishes. I am going to order sky +, should I ask installer to remove one of the dishes and move all cables to LNB on one dish (double, treble? or quad LNB). If i can do this as I have large dish and mini dish, should I keep the larger dish for better reception or doesnt size matter?

Use a quad LNB (which is supplied with Sky+) together with your larger dish :)

Unfortunately you can't do that. The quad-output LNB supplied with the SKY+ Digibox is designed to fit on a minidish only. The fitting is different (spigot) and the "horn" design is for a wide, oval dish. (I got this from the satcure technical notes ).

True, although I have a 60cm Sky oval, so it escaped my mind that the OPs would probably be circular

Thanks so mini dish it is. I will then have a spare digibox, does this have any use? As I will have 2 outputs from dish already I presume I can't have output to this 3rd spare digibox to view free to air channels.

Use the supplied quad LNB... Sky+ requires 2 outputs, leaving 2 additionals free for other ordinary Sky boxes. ;)
