    Hi

    Just got sky+ installed today!

The optical input on the AVR100 is currently being used by my xbox.
In order to benifit from dolby digital from the sky+ box I think I need to use this optical input. Is there such thing as an optical input splitter to get around this problem? are there any other solutions?

    any help appreciated!

    Thanks

An AVR300 would do just the trick. ;)

    Hi

    Yeah I wish!
    Hadn't planned on spending £1300
Would a AVR200 do the trick?

    Regards

You can use a optical digital to coax digital converter and use one of the two coax digital inputs available in AVR100, if at least one of them is not in use.

    Hope that helps

    Hi

    Hadn't thought about that!
In fact I didn't know such a device existed - they sound expensive!

just looked on ebay and you can get an optical splitter for a few quid - I don't know how well that would work.

Thanks for the advice - I shall investigate

    cheers
