Sky / Aerial cable splitter

I have just moved into a flat and the flat is fed by to coax cables that go up to a distribution board and then to a communal satellite and aerial. My sky is fed over these two cables but also my digital TV is fed over them as well. Is there any way of splitting the two signals as sky uses both of the cables but I want to take the TV signal for another device as well as use the sky.

There should be a filtered signal decombiner/splitter plate in the flat to provide the separate signals for SAT, UHF and (likely) VHF (DAB/FM radio). TV wall plates

You should ask your Landlord, Bulding's Managing Agents (aka Factor in Scotland) how to obtain the correct unit and which of the two cables to use (typically only one carries all the signals.
