    Hi all,

I've just bought a normal Sky+ box. It was advertised with the following line

160GB Hard Drive (80GB available to customer)

Does this mean it actually has a 160 gig in it but Sky formatted it to 80gig, and if so will a full reset or install from the hidden menu reformat it to 160?

Any idea's? Is there any way to check the size without opening it up? I dont fancy invalidating the warranty after only 2 days.

The drive has two 80GB partitions, one that you can record programmes on, and one reserved for Sky's "future use". I don't think you'll be able to change that because the box formats the drive, and is expecting to see two partitions on the disk.
