    Hi,

does anyone know why Sky+ has 2 cables running from the dish to the box? when I undo the one into dish input 2 everything seems the same. I ask as I intend to upgrade the cables from the wall to the Sky+ box in the hope I can reduce the picture interferance I have. The cables have to cross a fair few other cables.

    Thanks
    Chris

Sky+ needs two cables because there are two tuners inside the box. It's this that allows you to watch one channel and record a different one.

And what is the interferance you get?
I doubt it would be from these cables.

I agree. Satellite cables are shielded for this very reason.
