Sky + 160 - Does your box whirr and click?

I'm on my second Thompson box because the 1st whirred and clicked to the extent that it was disturbing viewing. It sounds like the hdd platter is clicking or even the fan catching.

Well the replacement one is just as bad. I have an amstrad 40 gig in the other room and its as quiet as mouse.

Do I have to live with this? Does yours make a racket? Are there other makes of boxes?
