sku plus cable

    does any 1 now where i can get sky plus cable from in the middlands area
    also is it best to take the old cable of and put a new length on or join on to the existing cable :thumbsup:

    You mean the cable between the digibox and the LNB on the dish?

    If so a decent large DIY superstore will stock CT100 cable, getting a couple of new F connectors and waterproof tape would be advisable as well.
    Barring that look in the yellow pages for a local sat dealer/installer, be amazed if they wouldn't sell you some cable.
    You can extend an existing cable but you might see some drop in performance, not a given but if you can, brand new cable, fresh well sealed connections are the better option.

    By "SKY+ cable" you are probably referring to CT63 "shotgun" cable. I haven't seen this in any shops. In fact I can only think of satcure, based in Telford.

    You shouldn't use more than 20 metres with a Sky minidish, otherwise you may lose too much signal.
