Ok I've just bought my first flat and I need a TV. I have a maximum budget of £450 but after reading posts on "size matters" I'm now not sure which way to go.

    Do I: a.) Buy a quality(ish) Flat widescreen 28" tv
    or b.) Buy a cheap 32" widescreen

Which would be best for watching DVD's and playing my XBOX?

Cheers chegz60. After a trip to Comet and Currys I'd definately prefer to go for a flat screen 28".

A little tip. Always check out internet price. Saved £90 with free delivery at Comet buying on-line.

    As regards dvd/xbox.
Make sure it has at least 1 rgb scart. Most have. To improve sound make sure it has rear av phono skts. Although the virtual dolby is pretty good on my Philips the sound is improved no end with the addition of a 2.1 subwoofer.
