    What!!

    Are these measurments right??

If so its an effin monster!

Prehaps i underestimated how big the screen is!

No way is it going to fit on my unit, i'll have to buy a new one!

I've buying the plasma for my bedroom and it going to be about 3 foot from the end of my bed, about 9 ft viewing distance away altogether.

Maybe i should of bought a 37" instead

You can have a look at the standard pedestal TY-ST42PA50W at here
where you can also download the pdf file with the exact dimensions. Alternatively you can opt for the shorter pedestal TY-ST42PX5W as seen here

Guys, I have to say I think you made the right choice.

Had a good look in Curry's and Comet tonight. They were showing the cricket on standard feed through RF, and the picture on the PE50 was superb. I'm not really talking about colours, contrast etc, as there was no remote to fiddle. But the pure lack of screen noise, dot crawl etc was impressive. Even standing 4ft away, this was still the case. No other plasma in either shop could get close to this standard.

Please post your thoughts when they arrive :)
