Enjoy guys & gals!
Two days early
6 weeks of kids screaming on the field!
Am I the only one who doesn’t understand what this thread is about?
I get it.
Kids off on summer holidays, such joy NOT .
Oh no its not!
Depending on where you live...
Kids finished on Friday?
Mine break up tomorrow at 13:30 can't wait
Seems to vary, it was definitely last Friday here.
A lot in SE England/Midlands did, some finish later this week.
Mine finish at 13:30 tomorrow, then finally I can get to work in under 10 mins
Schools have been off here since end of June, my son finished 2 weeks before that.
They go back the 1st week in September.

I’m in Italy. It is not driving bliss. They’re fudgeing mental!
They've been off here for weeks now. I think they get 8 weeks holiday in France. It's a far more family friendly country though, with 1-2 hour lunch breaks common (so people can go home to eat together).
Was thinking of driving further south next year (Modena for the Lamborghini factory and Venice) but not sure my nerves can take it.
One month late
I always notice a difference on my commute to work when the schools are out. I wouldn't say it's less stressful (still the same idiots on the road), but the traffic is certainly a lot lighter.
I’ve driven there for years and can’t say I’m ever concerned over the driving. Belgium and Slough are far worse.
Driving near Sant Agata is great and you get to see Lamborghinis.
Summer holidays now mean that travelling back from work the trains will be full of families that had a day out in London...great
Some you win...
Are you Italian?
I agree, but you’ve gotta get our driving rules out of your head and pretend you in a race for the next metre of road at all times. Take the racing line everywhere, late braking etc. Done it twice and it really does work. Doesn’t matter if you’re in a car, on a motorbike or even a pushbike, the same rules apply.
yeah, a load of roadworks are starting in the northeast now..
You need to remember the only reason the horn is in the centre of the steering wheel on Italian cars is so they can steer and sound the horn at the same with one hand while giving the mandatory hand gestures out the window with the other.
Kids broken up and gone - and I still have my tv remotes.
Not if you're bus driver! School holidays suck balls for bus drivers - kids all the time instead of just school rush hours, and the less traffic on the road means sticking to the timetable is a nightmare; late is ok, but early is bad - very bad!
Fortunately, I'm no longer a bus driver but instead drive tube trains, so I don't care
Oh yeah, after a short time you learn to drive “Italian”
So they decided to close a bridge near me for 6 weeks , the whole area is grid locked at rush hour
