    HI,

I know this is probably really basic but it is driving me round the bend...

I have a single scart socket tv, single scart socket vcr, cable box with tv output
and vcr output and a dvd player with single scart (input I suppose)...

I need to be able to record from cable as we don't get a
terrestrial signal but whatever way I link it up it
    just ain't working!

I have a scart adaptor which lets me connect
everything to the telly but then it has bad interference!

Someone suggested a 'split' scart from the video which
would link to the satellite output and the tv input but can't find one...

    HELP!
    :lease:

vcr scart to cable box video scart (both these should be of the in/out variety I would have thought). Cable tv scart output to scart switchbox input. dvd scart output to scart switchbox other input. switchbox outbox to tv.
This should allow you to record cable, play videos (signal routed through cable box) and play dvds.
You need a decent scart switchbox though. JS technology do a version for around £50 which automatically selects which input to send through to the television (based on what was latest device switched on).
