Single platter 1.8 drive for mp3

    Does anyone know the biggest capacity you can get on one of these hard drives that can be used in MP3 players?

    umm 60gb?

    But new perpendicular recording means same/more gb for smaller physical HD sizes. 2-3 years for DAPs to catch on I reckon

    I don't think that's right - aren't the drives used in iPods/etc 2 or 3 platters deep?
    20 GB springs to mind, but that might be because 3x20=60, rather than remembering if 20 is correct.
    You know what I mean! :flustered:
