    hi

At the moment my dvd player is connected to my surround sound amp via a digital optical (toslink) cable.. everything is fine.

however i may be getting a new dvd player that does not have an optical ouput, only a coaxial one and my amp does not have a coaxial input, it does however have 6 seperate rca type inputs, can i get a cable with one coaxial plug at one end and six at the other? would this work?

alternatively i have seen a coaxial to toslink adapter on a us site but can't seem to find one in the uk anybody know where i can get one here in the uk?

    thanks

    thanks guys
will take a look at both those players.

maplins only have toslink > coaxial convertors the coaxial > toslink has been discontinued.
