Hey all. Umm in my movie i have made, i am planning on making it black and white, but in some scenes there is blood. Im currently using Ulead VideoStudio 10+, does anyone know how i can put it black and white but keep the blood red?

If anyone can help out that would be awesome. Thanks heaps.

Not sure how you'd go about doing this with any ease. You'd have to shoot the film in colour and manually edit each individual frame to omit the colour from everything but the blood. I don't think you can do this with video editing software, rather you'd need to export every frame to Photoshop and convert the colour to B&W using a Channel Mixer Adjustment Layer. Then you'd use a brush to reinsert the colour where required.

Have a look at this link for details: http://www.picturecorrect.com/photoshoptips/colorspots.htm
